I’ve been where you are, standing at the crossroads between the big traditional wedding and the small, intentional celebration that feels more like you.
My husband and I chose to elope and I fell in love with what that meant: space to breathe, laugh, and really feel the day.
Now I help couples find that same ease and joy in their own way.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to stories—the laughter, the quiet moments, the real stuff that happens between the poses. After years of photographing weddings, I realized my heart belonged to the smaller, more intentional celebrations—the ones rooted in connection rather than perfection.
That’s when Vancouver Island Elopements was born: a space for couples who want their wedding day to feel meaningful, unhurried, and full of heart.
A little bit of back story…
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me grounding myself out in the garden, hiking a local trail, or admiring the hummingbirds while my kids (hopefully) play quietly nearby. The same things I love in life—laughter, connection, simplicity—are what I bring into every elopement I plan and photograph.
